India — The He Cares Mission
The He Cares Mission helps the more than 75 million people in India living in extreme poverty, defined by the World Bank as an income of less than $2.66 per day (2024 dollars).

This program began more than 30 years ago, and is currently led by Director Bhath Singh, a member of a Christian pastoral family in India. The He Cares Mission is active in six Indian provinces.

Chhattisgarh State

This is an area characterized by a great deal of terrorist activity. The He Cares Mission provides books, educational supplies, and other school-related material for each child. Children also receive a free meal. The He Cares Mission supports four assistant pastors and their families in this troubled area.

Tamil Nadu State

He Cares Mission and Heart of Love International support disabled children, including food, medicine, wheelchairs when available, and free dental camps.

Gujarat State

The He Cares Mission and Heart of Love International provide, at no charge, food and other basic needs to local villages. A free Christian education is also available.

Andhra Pradesh

The He Cares Mission supports two orphanages caring for 61 children. Hearts of Love International helps supply clothing and free dental and medical camps in the surrounding villages. The He Cares Mission provides for many pregnant women and widows and also supports fifteen pastors and their families in this area.

Odisha State

Bore pumps in remote villages provide free, fresh water. Heart of Love International also helps the He Cares Mission supply free books and education, and a monthly medical camp.

Maharashtra

The He Cares Mission and Heart of Love International built an orphanage serving more than 35 children. These children receive food, clothing, and a Christian education.
